Thank you for contacting Hotels.com regarding your Welcome Rewards account. No, you are not required to use a free night to get the next free night. You can accumulate as many free nights as you want to. The free nights you earn will never expire as long as you have at least one booking post within 12 months from the last booking that posted and earned credit. Please make sure to be logged in on the booking page so your nights will automatically post.

To redeem a free night online
1. Sign in to your Hotels.com account.
2. Search for hotels with the Hotels.com Rewards logo.
3. Select the hotel you want to book.
4. Book your desired room.
5. If your selected hotel offers the option to Pay now or Pay at hotel, choose Pay now.
6. In Your Reservation Summary, select Redeem Hotels.com Rewards.
7. Select which free night you want to redeem and Apply them to your booking.
The total cost of your booking will now reflect the applicable value of your free night discount.

Good to know
■ The value of a free night does not include taxes and fees.
■ You can redeem your free night for a night of greater value and pay the difference.
■ You can redeem your free night for a night of lesser value and forfeit the difference.
■ You can redeem only 1 free night for each night of your booking.
■ You can redeem multiple free nights when you book a multiple-night stay. For example, if you are booking a seven-night stay and have five free nights to redeem, you can use all of your free nights in the same booking and pay for only two nights, plus taxes and fees.
■ If you cancel a refundable booking before the hotels cancellation deadline, we will return your free night to your account within 1 hour. If you cancel your booking after the cancellation deadline, you will forfeit your free night.
