Wormbs (KTH Royal Institute of Technology). It is a qualitative study of a
particular group of self-selected people, and thus not statistically significant of
the Swedish population. The survey targeted those who had stopped or drastically reduced flying because of climate change and asked them to describe their
reasoning.
In all, 673 full responses were analysed looking for recurring arguments and
thought structures. These responses were grouped into four themes:
• knowledge and experience;
• the moral;
• the social; and
• alternatives.
